During this time I also provided a presentation to the Health Department of Victoria, Melbourne on the establishment of a rural dual diagnosis service. I also established and coordinated the Victorian Dual Diagnosis Initiative Rural Forum (VDDIRF) for many years, with all rural dual diagnosis clinicians in the state of Victoria attending.
I also delivered a presentation of the rural structure of the VDDI at the alcohol and other drug service providers’ conference. I was also a founding member of the statewide working party ensuring the development and direction of dual diagnosis services in Victoria!
